TD Bank
Location: Broadway & 68th St. Manhattan, NYC
Timeline: 5 weeks
Specifications: Business eBank interior alteration to existing freestanding branch, 6,558 sq. ft.
Challenges: Working in New York City and Manhattan in particular provides a unique set of challenges. This commercial construction project also included restrictive use of power tools after 10pm, which meant meticulous coordination and planning of all on-site drilling/cutting to be completed before the nightly deadline, then installation of materials performed after to maximize the timeline. Other complications that needed to be thought out and executed included; storing materials off site, nightly garbage and demolition materials removed from the site, narrow streets, etc. Coordination between standard TD IT/Ameritrade IT departments was crucial. Workspace and equipment had to be swapped overnight to ensure functionality the following morning.
