My relationship with BNF started over 15 years ago when I was a retail project manager with Fleet Bank. At that time in my career, I was responsible for project managing both new construction and renovations for Fleet's retail branch banks in Downstate New York. I was first contacted by the President of BNF, Barbara Giordano, requesting my consideration for bidding on a newly constructed bank in East Setauket, NY (Long Island). I was not familiar with BNF, but decided to take a chance, and as they say, "the rest is history"!

The project was such a success with Fleet Bank, and as a result, BNF was hired for Fleet Bank's first major initiative in Downstate New York – the Nassau County Initiative involving a major rebranding of several branch banks compromising of a sundry of new finishes ranging from flooring, millwork, redefining floor plans, signage, ATM installations, etc. The biggest challenge was completing the work during "off hours", while maintaining the operation of the banks' during business hours. Communication was paramount with outlining the detailed phasing and understanding the expectations of the client. My role was to interface with BNF daily and working as a partnership on this major initiative. BNF Contractors, not only completed this project on time and within budget, they exceeded our expectations by always finding ways to produce cost savings for the bank.

From that point on, BNF has worked on numerous projects with me throughout Downstate New York from a minor ATM installation to a ground up bank facility and no matter how large or small, each project was treated with the same consistent attention and detail.

Throughout the years, BNF Contractors has continued to prove their uniqueness with the utmost integrity of conducting business without ever compromising their quality of work and business ethics. What has always set BNF apart from the competition is understanding the expectations of their customer, and always going the "extra" mile. This has resulted in scorecard ratings consistently above 95! When BNF was working on one of my projects, I confidently knew my job would be made easier!!

Although BNF's work speaks for itself, what also plays an integral part in their success is all that goes on "behind the scenes" in their office. In my 30 years + of working in some capacity with construction, I have never seen such impeccable paperwork associated with each project that comes out of the BNF office. Whether it be requesting lien releases or a project close out booklet, BNF has never fallen short on the ever increasing paperwork requirement demands of our client and has continued to remain flexible and cooperative with the ever changing demands in the Retail Banking world.
