Challenges: The restaurant remained open throughout all phases of demolition and construction. Proper steps were taken to ensure all computer systems remained on line during relocations, as well as ensuring all food/working areas were clean and in working order. Initial project scope was roughly half of the store however, during construction the improvements to the space influenced client to renovate the entire space (walls, floors and ceilings), delivering a fully renovated and fresh space. The updating of the walk-in cooler presented an unexpected challenge. By moving quickly we were able to relocate the inventory to an off-site location for one night. In that time, the entire tile floor was installed, grouted and prepped for open for business the following morning.
